Loving Local

Meet our fabulous local partners

We are located in the heart of the beautiful Chew Valley in Somerset, just outside Bristol. Combining passion, sustainable agricultural practices and the latest viticultural techniques, we produce multi-award winning rosé wine from our Pinot noir and Seyval blanc grapes. We’ll be releasing our first sparkling wine toward the end of 2018.

Dunleavy Vineyards were planted by owner and manager Ingrid Bates. Ingrid has a background in biology and, after a short stint working in the media, began her viticultural career 10 years ago when she took up a job maintaining a local vineyard. Having found her true vocation, she began planning and saving and finally planted her own vineyard in 2008.

Wiper and True is a brewery based in Bristol. Founded in 2012 after falling in love with brewing at home, our craft was learnt on a kitchen stove with pots, pans and raw ingredients scattered all around.

After a period as nomadic brewers, we now have own home in St Werburghs. Whilst our apparatus has become more sophisticated since those early days, our thirst for experimentation and excellence, together with enjoyment of our craft, remains our driving force.

Simon and I (Helena) started TrueStart to prove a point; that you can take the path less travelled and build an awesome brand that makes people feel wild for life, without compromising on ethics. People and the planet matter to us, we really do listen to you, our customers, who have been a massive part of TrueStart since day one.

Sugary, milky, rubbish quality, boring products by huge dinosaur brands dominate the coffee industry. These brands do not resonate with the younger generations at all, they're worlds apart in terms of ethics and attitude to life. At the other end of the market you've got countless dull, hipster brands that are all pretty much the same as each other. And don't get us started on the damage caused by the energy drinks industry... cold brew coffee is here to whip that into shape.

We're a Bristol-based startup that one of the fastest growing young drinks brands in the UK. TrueStart is colourful, vibrant and absolutely Wild for Life for a reason - we're bringing a festival mindset to the every day!

dry gin.jpg

Bristol Dry Gin has been developed by a small group of bartenders and service industry professionals and was proudly launched in 2016. The development process subjected the team to a gruelling regime of product testing, from which one or two have not yet fully recovered.
The belief at the core of the development of Bristol Dry Gin, is that a local gin should be a drink for everybody, not just those lucky enough to be able to afford it, or those who frequent the right type of bars, or those that can survive an encounter with the most pretentious of bartenders. We can't fix all the worlds problems, but we are pretty sure we could fix this one.

Our independence defines us. Committed to brewing modern, seasonal beer, our fierce intuition makes us unemployable anywhere else. Though we’ve never wanted to be traditional, we still respect the nobility of craft. In fact, tradition is part of our adventure, helping us explore what great brewing means today. We look to discover the extraordinary, to make beer that stimulates our creativity and makes us smile. You’re welcome to join us on the journey, but our path is our own.

Cat created Cat Christopherson in a ‘now or never moment’ in 2017. “I’d stumbled upon a series of online courses in surface pattern design, and inadvertently discovered that quite simply, I loved everything about the process of designing patterns: from concept through to product production. Starting my own design business seemed an obvious and organic way of pursuing a career in something I really do love.”

We’ve been brewing our beers in the fine city of Bristol since 2007. All of our beers are brewed with the intention of creating something we’ll enjoy drinking ourselves and, more importantly, something we’re proud to put our name to. In a world of endless possibilities, we try to explore as many of them as possible, which is why to date we’ve brewed in excess of three hundred different beers: some of them regulars, the odd few occasionals, and far too many one-offs to remember let alone try to name!

A small business with a big heart based in the North Somerset countryside – just a stones throw from the vibrant and cultural city of Bristol (famous for it’s hot air balloons, Wallace and Gromit and mysterious graffiti artist, Banksy).

I started Botanica Verde because plants are in my genes. Going back to my mother and grandmother in Africa, who both somehow managed to conjure up verdant gardens in very arid conditions; to my great-grandfather, who was a gardener at a Scottish castle.

I love plants and everything to do with them. Making botanical crafts is therapeutic and rewarding. It’s also great to meet people, and connect with communities on social media, who love plants as much as do.

I hope that Botanica Verde reflects what I’m passionate about and that the products can put a smile on your face too.

Since Karin Andersson and Ben Flight founded the Real Olive Company in Bristol in 1998, we have personally established a network of growers around the Mediterranean coast, in Greece, Italy, France, Morocco and Spain.

Working with small scale, independent, artisan and organic farmers, we know exactly where our olives and other mouthwatering ingredients come from. You can always enjoy our olives safe in the knowledge that they are pure, natural products. You can rest assured that the sun kissed groves in which these olives grow remain a haven for wildflowers, insects and birds, as they have been for centuries.

From our farmers we have learnt time honoured ways of preparing and preserving olives without the use of modern artificial preservatives. We have also discovered delicious marinades and age old recipes, so that we can offer you the most authentic Mediterranean flavours.

We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the aromatic flavours and succulent texture of the finest olives, marinated with fragrant herbs and spices in natural cold-pressed oils. We keep our prices as low as we can without ever compromising on quality.

We embrace new technology where it matters, ensuring that our olives reach you quickly and in the best possible condition. Our underlying mission remains the same, to bring you the delicious fruits of the Mediterranean sun, grown for us by artisan farmers.

We are nuts about a few things here at Pistachio Provenance. Freshness, Flavour and and you guessed it- Pistachios!

The Journey Began Here...

after a holiday in Greece snacking on the best pistachios we had ever tasted, we saw a gap in the UK market for a fresh, high quality pistachio nut that was grown sustainably and with provenance. With this in mind we made it our mission to find the best pistachio nut the world had to offer. Finding our perfect partners in the form of a co-operative of growers in Greece, we went about creating a brand and presence with standout simplicity, a trust in ingredients and ethical awareness. From day one it has always been our aim to work with the farmers closely and fairly, while providing people with a fabulous healthy shared snacking experience.
